Sofa set

Most all residential buildings in Kuwait will have a sofa seat or two placed at the entrance by the watchman (called the `Haaraas'). Rarely, if ever, you will see anyone sitting on them, though. Very often, it's left to the cats to make use of this!

Looks a little run down. I'm not sure I'd want to live there.

Gail's man, that's just the entrance that needs a paint job. The houses are really spacious and done up well. I'll post more entrances with sofas in the future. Thank you for your comment.

They aren’t really very appealing… ;)

A nice gesture, and no one makes use of it.

But I suppose everyone is in a hurry to get home, or to leave, when passing by this seating.

But I'll bet the cats enjoy them! :-)

Oh and yes... Re: Your comment in one of my blogs, on Autumn... I'm very sure you could beat me, as regards to a sandy environment. ,-)

And yes, we both got added to that other daily photo blog thing. :-) We will soon be 'world-famous.' :-)

And didn't you say, in an earlier post or comment on a post... that you would do this {daily photo blogging} unless you got bored with it? I think I remember reading that. So, how are you doing? Not bored yet, are you? :-)

I don't think so. It's great fun to do this! I've been posting to my blog, for a while now. Almost as a history of things around my city. And even that, has been fun. And now... this world-wide thing, is even more fun.

I still am amazed at how the World Wide Net lets people who are way around the world from each other... how we can chat, almost as if we lived much closer. I hope I never lose being amazed, by this.

not a bad idea, supposing one has to wait for someone to arrive, at least you can sit down.

it's a great idea to have sofas at the entrance! it's too bad no one is making a use of them.
