Here's another water dispenser I saw. It's shaped like an ancient Kuwaiti door... or atleast that's what I think. (You are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.) I have absolutely no idea what those black sticks are doing there protruding from the top of the water dispenser.

Greetings JoAnn :)
So, each one of these water dispensers, is different! Makes for a more interesting city. If they were all the same, it could be more boring. :-)

love this water dispensers
Perhaps those black sticks are for people who wish to do pull-up exercises before they satisfy their thirst. But then again, perhaps not.
I love this photo. Beautiful camera as well. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
strange, but I like the idea of them all being a different style.
I saw you over at Hyberdad....Your blog is very nice. I will visit again. I don't know much about Kuwait....looks interesting!
Good morning Olive,
Fantastic picture.
may the rods are for decoration
@annie: lol! :-D That's funny!
I sure wonder why they decided to make a water dispenser in this style.
It's an interesting concept though. In some parts of Florida they have a law stating that new building owners must put up some form of artwork, e.g. a water feature etc. maybe that's the same in Kuwait?
water dispenser! i thought it's a public restroom!
I have an idea...
If you want to take a shower, just hang your clothes there!
;)
Wow, what a coincidence. You also posted a false door on Sunday, just like I did. :)
@annie - I had also thought it could be for pullups. :)
It puts our water dispenser at work to shame! I think we need an upgrade.!
You lot are really creative! He! He!
anyways, great idea to have these water dispensers in such varied shapes and forms.
the black protruding sticks remind me of an element in traditional middle eastern houses, thought i dont remember what purpose it serves.
in the desert towns of india too such protrusions are seen, here they are exaggerated water drains to drain off water from terraces
@ ann, interesting law there in floirda.. wonder what are the results like
