This is the building you can see from the other side of the Plane Bridge that I had posted on Jan 9th. Kerri thought it's the air traffic controller building :-). It's just a building with shops on the ground floor and offices above.

it does look like a control tower! it seems like you have a lot of modern skyscrapers in kuwait.
It looks like a bottle of perfume. I didn't realise how big the city was. Lovely photo.
I love the buildings you have shown. This one is very cool.
I thought it was a control tower too! Looks a really interesting building, many of the buildings you have shown are of an unusual design.
It's a very interesting building, I love the shape and the color
That is a nice looking building. The windows look like they have a greenish glow like emerald. Is that a revolving restaurant at the top? :)
Good one.
Good shot. Prez Busgh was in Q8 did you get a shot of him?
Hope everything is OK with you and the family. Best wishes C.
Wow! That is some office building!
Seems the top would make a great place for a restaurant. With such a view. :-)

have had fun catching up, usually it is sad to see old buildings give way to modern ones, but I must say the architecture of these modern ones is amazing! And I adore the close up of one of the domes on the Kuwait tower, great pic! It is so funny, even the murals (like on the electric supply box room) are preoccupied with water towers, your photo for Fridays theme will be easy, just pick a water tower and you can't go wrong.hehe!
I wonder if the top has a revolving restaurant because of the round shape. Very nice building. Kuwait seems to be an interesting place - bridges shaped like planes, buildings shaped like control towers, water dispensers shaped like this or that.... :)
Talking about planes and control towers, I read that King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is the largest airport by area, spread over 780 sq kilometers, an area larger than many cities and the neighboring country, Bahrain. The second largest is Denver International at 53 sq miles.
Love this picture Web-OJ. That is a striking building and the design of the top floors is eye-catching.
I am amazed that the buildings are so unique to your part of the world....interesting. That whole cultural thing!Nice.
Hi again, I've given you the "You made My Day" award...
hope all is well...
It sure is BIG! I am amazed at such little traffic on the roads. Is that normal??
I am missing you.
the building looks lonely, away from other tall buildings. no wonder people think it's an air traffic controller :)
Where are you? I hope all is well.
I want to give you the YMMD (You Made My Day) award because I learn so much about Kuwait from your blog. Please visit hyderabad dp for rules.
like hyderabad, i am wondering where you are, i miss your cheery posts and your interesting photos, but more importantly i am hoping you are okay and that you are simply too busy with regular life...take care...we're thinking of you
I was hoping you would have participated in the Theme Day this month. I would love to see what people think of when they think of Kuwait :)
I also thought it was a control tower! Nice photo!
