Lantern

Isin't this water dispenser pretty? It's not operative yet. I guess once they complete building the villa, they will arrange for the water supply for the water dispenser too.

As requested by Ann (in the comments), I checked with a Kuwaiti friend what the writing on the dispenser meant. She told me that it says, "This water is free for all people. From a dead person (his name is written). So when people drink from this water they pray for him....."

Thanks to Ann, I learnt something new too.

Smiling Hello from Istanbul:) Thank you for your visit on my journal. I so appreciate being able to get an insider's view of places where I have not been yet -like Kuwait-, but certainly on my wish-list.
As far as water dispenser, sounds like interesting one. It is always better if no limitation for creativity.

I agree with amrita. The water dispenser design business must be quite lucrative in Kuwait :-D

They are all so creative and interesting! Do the villa owners try to outdo each other?

Can you tell us what is written on this one?

Who'd have thought of such things as these water dispensers? I'm amazed. Glad you liked the photo of our Thanksgiving dinner turkey!
