Kuwait Towers

The beautiful Kuwait Towers

The main tower is 187 metres high and serves as a restaurant and water tower. It also has a revolving Viewing Sphere . The third tower houses equipment to control the flow of electricity and illuminates the two bigger towers.

They look really nice. The view must be great from the restaurant and the viewing sphere. Is it a revolving restaurant?

BTW, I don't know if you subscribed to the comments you left on my blog or not, but here is what I wrote in response to your comment:

@weboj - In Western countries the food packages have a warning about "traces of nuts" because some people are allergic to it. So this quote is a take on that. Regarding the signs at the railway stations, the local stations here also have similar signs. I think the design has been "stolen" from the London Underground.http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modalpages/2625.aspx

ooh, this is such a stunning complex! I love good, imaginative architecture, and this has the bonus of being very functional too. I gather water conservation, storage and dispensing is a major pre-occupoation in Kuwait?!!
