Dust storm

Bad dust storm today. They left us an hour early at the office. Yippeee!
I clicked this pic from my 1st floor balcony at 2:45 p.m. Will try and click the same view another day, same time when it's clearer.

    This image is like the tv-images of the dessert-storm-war that the tv showed in 1991.
    I irritate the eyes watching the picture. ;)

    it was just the same in bahrain this morning, bright orange and tasting of sand. i took some pictures, but nothing came out as good as yours.

    A dust storm, funny but I'd never seen one of these before. Is it dangerous?

    I haven't seen a dangerous one yet and hope I don't. They say if the winds blow hard, it could get dangerous.

    Fantastic! We had a mini one here yesterday. The temperatures rose very quickly, and then the winds came in. Nothing like what you're accustomed to in KC.
