Sail away


There are various paintings done on small, box like rooms. This one is outside a school (in Abu Halifa). Makes the surrounding a little colourful in the otherwise beige, sand filled country. I don't know what's inside .... Electricity meters I presume.

    very innovative. A good way to keep the walls free posters and grafitti etc. Might not work here.

    Very thoughtful. I agree with Amrita - it might not work here. The boat seems to be in tricolor. It doesn't have sails otherwise I would have thought it is a dhow from India...

    Yes, that is a really great mural. Very soothing to the eye. I enjoy reading all your comments you have posted on my blog. It was fun to go back and revisit those that were posted even last year. BTW, I love that camera you have!

    I enjoy seeing murals like this on walls that are otherwise ugly...very nice photo.
