Old door


Here's another water dispenser I saw. It's shaped like an ancient Kuwaiti door... or atleast that's what I think. (You are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.) I have absolutely no idea what those black sticks are doing there protruding from the top of the water dispenser.

    So, each one of these water dispensers, is different! Makes for a more interesting city. If they were all the same, it could be more boring. :-)

    Perhaps those black sticks are for people who wish to do pull-up exercises before they satisfy their thirst. But then again, perhaps not.

    @annie: lol! :-D That's funny!

    I sure wonder why they decided to make a water dispenser in this style.

    It's an interesting concept though. In some parts of Florida they have a law stating that new building owners must put up some form of artwork, e.g. a water feature etc. maybe that's the same in Kuwait?

    the black protruding sticks remind me of an element in traditional middle eastern houses, thought i dont remember what purpose it serves.

    in the desert towns of india too such protrusions are seen, here they are exaggerated water drains to drain off water from terraces

    @ ann, interesting law there in floirda.. wonder what are the results like
